Jury trials will not commence before 1st March 2021 

Thursday 28 January 2021: Following the Government’s announcement to extend current Level 5 restrictions, the Courts Service have confirmed that their enhanced Covid-19 Level 5 protocols will continue for the remainder of January and for the month of February 2021. Therefore trials which have not already commenced will not start in February 2021. Trials will not commence before the 1st March 2021, therefore jury panels called for the month of February are no longer required to attend for jury service. Please note that further trials from March are currently subject to review on the 23 February 2021.
